First, I interviewed a 4th grade teacher to see what she knows about 4th grade. I interviewed Mrs. Horan first. Here it is.
Logan: What is the best part of teaching 4th grade?
Ms. Horan: Spending time with them and watching them mature over the year.
Logan: What field trip do they go on, and is anyone excited?
Ms. Horan: The field trip is Ellis Island, and I think they all are excited. They all seem super excited.
Logan: Thank you for your time.
Ms. Horan: You’re welcome.
Next, I decided to interview two 4th grade friends to get a view from the 4th graders themselves. I interviewed R.W. and J.M.
Logan: What do you like about 4th grade that was different about 3rd?
R W.: I like that there is no Fundations; I used to call it BORE-dations because it was so boring. Also, teachers are super nice and kind.
J M.: We have a new music teacher, who is really nice.
Logan: What do you not like about 4th grade?
R W.: There’s not much that I don’t like about 4th grade. It’s probably one of my best years. I don’t like that we don’t get to go out to lunch recess with other classes in my grade.
J M.: You have much harder subjects and it feels like a shorter lunch period for some reason.
So, now you know what it’s like in 4th grade for teachers and students. There isn’t Fundations any more, teachers are supposedly very nice, and they have a field trip to an island. Do you think fourth grade sounds fun? It sure does to me! In conclusion, you are awesome! Logan out.
