Fourth grade is busy as bees during the months of December and January. They will experience the Lenape ways, explore partial products, and learn the entertaining force, friction, and gravity. Good luck to the fourth grade!
The fourth grade will take a bus to the Pine Barrens. They will make their own Lenape home. Grade four will play games Lenape children would, and make food Lenape people would. They will learn how they heal sickness, a cut or wound, or a pounding headache. Lots of other activities will also be included.
Partial products are very fun to learn. In case you didn’t know, partial products is a way to do multiplication. It’s not as hard as you might think. I love partial products. I believe the fourth grade will also love to use partial products!
Force, friction, and gravity are important to our learning. Gravity keeps us and other objects on the ground as the Earth rotates. In space there is NO gravity. If you were in space, you’d just float! Friction is when two things rub together. Force is to force something to move. Science is chock full of fun.
Fourth grade, you’re in for an exciting ride. Partial products, Lenape ways, and force, friction, and gravity are in your future.
