The 6th grade classes are going on a field trip to a museum in Pennsylvania. The grade has been divided into 2, with Mrs. Meehan’s and Mrs. Fox’s class going on Thursday, December 12 and Mrs. Ren’s and Mrs. Gornowski’s classes going on Friday, December 13.
The museum is about ancient civilizations such as Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
I (Joe G.) interviewed Pat D., a fellow newspaper editor. “I think that it will be very fun to see mummies that were made in Ancient Egypt long ago.” Many people are excited to go to the museum and even more can’t wait to see what lies inside the museum.
The museum is divided into ten or so exhibits like ancient Iraq, Rome, Egypt, and so on. Egypt contained antiques such as pottery, statues, and even mummies. Many other artifacts were located in other exhibits such as statues, carvings, and even skeletons.
So as you see, the 6th grade field trip is one of the most exciting and interesting field trips the the sixth grade has had.
