“There’s lots of responsibility, so much homework, and you have lunch way later!!” Said a grumpy old sixth grader. Hold on one second…sixth grade has so many fun activities. Instead of calling them responsibilities they’re more like privileges.
In sixth grade you get chromebooks to take home and do homework. When you’re done you can also listen to music and play games at home. Ella I. ( a student in Mansion Ave.) states “Chromebooks are the best part of sixth grade because we get to do homework and we don't have to go to the chromebook cart everyday.”
Although entering the sixth grade is filled with nervousness and joy, so is the end of sixth grade. At the end of the year we get to do moving up day just as any other grade, but we get to go on the bus and see the seventh grade up in the high school!
Another sixth grade student, Lilly L., states. “Moving up day is my favorite part about sixth grade because we get to go to the high school and see what it's like.”
Furthermore, another student states that the group projects are her favorite. Ella B. claims, “Group projects are my favorite because we get to work in groups, share ideas, and we get to do hands on activities.”
“I want to go to sixth grade even more, I hate going to the chromebook cart every morning,” the same little girl exclaimed. “I guess it’s fun after all” Said the grumpy sixth grader. In conclusion if you like not going to the chromebook cart everyday and sorting the wires, then you will have a great time in sixth grade!
