Some of the staff chosen was Mrs. Swinney, Mrs. Smeltzer, Mr. Jenkinson, and Mr. Rehn. They have been working on these poems for a couple weeks. These poems are going to get hung on the door of the staff member’s room and when it’s Moving Up Day you will be able to see all the hard work the sixth graders put into these amazing poems. See an example below!
By: Brian A. and Austin D.
I am Mr. Jenkinson yes I am.
The Cafeteria Cleaner, the Sweeper of Schools.
Can I fix it? Yes, I actually repair chairs, heaters, lights and more.
When I am seen I am expected to clean.
When it comes to clean I am pristine.
I make sure to clean and sweep the halls and classrooms,
and even do it after school.
I empty the trash and lock the door,
I also notify people if equipment is poor.
I restock the bathroom with soap, toilet paper and many things more.
I am the cleaner of schools of course I am!
Without me you would drown under a mountain of garbage.
