The School Of Rock is actually a chain. The closest one to here is in cherry hill. The way it works is that you would have a one-hour private lesson and then a three-hour group session.
If you're nervous that you won't be as good as the other kids then don't worry. They have a beginners program called rock 101. Then maybe a year or a couple months you graduate from the performance program.rock 101 works on two or three songs that the performance hasn't done from the musical project. Some projects may include The Golden Age Of The Rolling Stones, The Godfathers Of Punk Rock and Ozzy Osbourne v.s Iron Maiden.now everyone doesn't do the same show. You have usually two choices such as The Cream Of Clapton and Pink Floyd. You would sign up for one of these and then practice songs from that band or genre.
One of the most fun things about the school of rock is performances. Workers at the school will book gigs and shows at coffee shops, festivals, etc.this is supposed to teach future rock stars how to book gigs and set up equipment.
The school of rock is definitely something to look into if you have some kind of musical talent or you want to take up an instrument. If you want to try it out but don't want to spend much money, if you call 856-672-5248 you can get a free trial lesson.
The School Of Rock has an All-Star program where you play at a bunch of shows around the state. Here's a link to the school of rock summer fest:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut244gLWvdM.
So yes I think the school of rock is a good program to get in because it gives kids experiences that they usually can't get at that age. The question now is, are you gonna make the call to fill your soul with rock and roll?
