Everyone is tired of bathroom graffiti. It is old and makes the bathrooms in our school an eyesore. Wouldn’t you like it to go away? Do you want to help? If so, drop by the office and sign up for the solution.
The bathroom graffiti club is dedicated to helping get rid of graffiti. First preventing graffiti, then protecting our bathrooms. The club’s overall goal is to paint a mural in each of the school’s bathrooms. This would cover up old graffiti and hopefully stop new graffiti from happening.
The next step in the plan is to figure out what to paint. Mrs. Smeltzer has stated that two boxes will put in the lunchroom (one for the girl’s bathroom and one for the boy’s bathroom) so that during lunch, you can write your idea on a slip of paper for what the mural should be and put it in the box for which bathroom it should be painted in. You can put your ideas in whichever bin you feel that idea should belongs. You can put in as many ideas as you want. This will happen on Monday the 21st and Tuesday the 22nd of December. Eventually, Mrs. Gabardi and Mrs. Smeltzer will review the ideas and decide what to paint. Then, the club would paint it!
Mrs. Smeltzer and Mrs. Gabardi have already met to discuss the mural and have also started gathering paint. They are super excited for this to happen!
So far, over 175 students have signed up for the club! Mrs. Smeltzer hopes even more do! So if you haven’t signed up already go down to the office right now and help us end graffiti for good.
