At the J.F.K Center, we learn all the stations in the building, why they have different color scrubs, what they use for specific issues, what people do there, and we got special tube needles filled with lifesavers(they did this for a joke).
At the Ronald McDonald House we got to see special rooms, the Star Wars room, the Candyland room, the playroom with a building theme and the Eagles Meeting room. We also got to see the kitchen, dining room, the check in area and etc. The most exciting thing that we did was we got to see a family from Peru and China make pasta bracelets and we got to donate delicious food to the Ronald MCDonald House so they have enough food to feed the twenty-five families the have to take care of during their times there.
This field inspired some of the people in the Health Careers Club. Donating food just helped a family in need of health and a home. One day I want you to help a family in need of a life for their sick child and themselves.
